Telefilm 2014 opens in Ho Chi Minh City

The second Vietnam International Exhibition on Film and Television Technology (Telefilm 2014) was opened in Ho Chi Minh City on June 5, for the purpose of spotlighting current advertisement services and modern technologies, and investment opportunities available to filmmakers.

Hosted by the national Vietnam Television (VTV) broadcaster, thethree-day event is providing a rendezvous between 50 television stationsand TV service providers from 15 countries and territories.

Nearly 300 stalls at the annual exhibition are featuring the latestproducts in the fields of communications technology and multi-mediaentertainment.

A series of symposiums are included intothe event, focusing on sharing experience in producing televisionprogrammes and applying 4G and cloud computing in the televisionindustry.

Telefilm 2013 took place in Hanoi last June.-VNA
