The two workedtogether to transform regular Hyundai Solati vehicles into ambulances or specialisedminibuses to carry doctors, patients, and those in quarantine.
Despite operationsat the Hyundai factory in northern Ninh Binh province being suspended fromApril 1 to 23 to help contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, a division taskedwith turning the Hyundai Solati vehicles into ambulances and specialisedminibuses worked hard to complete the transformation. The first vehicles havebeen given to medical clinics to support their battle against the virus.
A representativefrom Hyundai Motor in Vietnam said the decision to provide the vehicles was inresponse to appeals from Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen PhuTrong and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc for all to join hands in COVID-19 preventionand control./.
