Bangkok (VNA/NNT)– The Thai government is keen to recruit people with high potential to serve thecountry in the hope of achieving sustainable development.
Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, on May 7 disclosed thatin February the cabinet had ordered the Office of the Civil Service Commission(OCSC) and the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) torevise employment terms for better incentives, compensation, and other benefitsin order to attract competent workers.

According to the prime minister, persons with knowledge andskills will be the engine driving the reform transition, thus the government islooking for candidates.

Realizing the importance of human resource development, GenPrayut said he had instructed related agencies to develop a curriculum forcomprehensive training to be given to government officers, with the aim ofattaining improved work efficiency.

The government in March launched aleadership skills training course for high-ranking officials, to help them tokeep abreast of what’s going on in this digital-changing society.-VNA/NNT
