Thai ministry awards winners of energy conservation drawing contest

Thailand's Ministry of Energy has handed out awards to the winners of a drawing competition to promote energy-saving behaviour among students and the general public.

Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Thailand's Ministry of Energy has handed out awards to the winners of a drawing competition to promote energy-saving behaviour among students and the general public.

The competition received over 500 submissions.

Energy Minister Gen Anantaporn Kanjanarat chaired the award ceremony. The drawings depicted the royal, energy-related initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn, and other members of the monarchy. 

The winner of the lower Mathayom category was Irin Luangon from Somkidjitvittaya School in Chonburi province. The winner of the upper Mathayom category was Juthamas Rattanapiboonkul from Bung Manoon Witthayakan School in Chonburi. 

The winner of the university-level category was Warut Pongpak from Chulalongkorn University, while Apidej Siriburi won the general public category.-VNA
