‘Thailand 2018 World Stamp Exhibition’ underway

Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Thailand Post Co. Ltd. is presenting the ‘Thailand 2018 World StampExhibition’ on the 5th floor of Siam Paragon shopping complex in the capitalcity of Bangkok from now until December 3. 

The company is inviting members of the public to attend the event to admirerare stamps from around the world. Event-goers will also have a chance to seemore than 200 items including the personal postcard collection of Princess MahaChakri Sirindhorn. The collection is called ‘Record of Journey.’ 

Visitors will be able to see various hard-to-find stamps, including the ThaiHeritage Conservation's Day collection, and purchase five special sets of the‘Stamp Journey’ stamps that were launched to promote domestic tourism. Each sethighlights tourist attractions in 55 lesser-known provinces, in line with thegovernment-initiated secondary destination campaign.-NNT/VNA

Thai Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Vuttikrai Leewiraphan Thailand's formal proposal will be substantial enough for the US to consider further detailed negotiations. He hoped for a tariff rate not exceeding 10% and suggested that the US might extend the negotiation period if an agreement is not reached by the July 8 deadline.
