Bangkok (VNA)🍒 – The InternationalFederation of Football Associations (FIFA) chose Thailand for its annualcongress in 2024, Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President of the ThailandConvention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has announced.
The 74th FIFA Congress is scheduled to takeplace on May 17, 2024, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Thailand is the first ASEAN country to host a FIFA congress, which is expected to attract over 1,000 representatives from allover the world. The congress is the occasion for FIFA membersfrom 211 associations worldwide to nominate themselves to host the FIFA WorldCup and propose candidates for the FIFA president position.
Participants at the congress will also selectthe host country for the Women’s World Cup 2027.
