The Public SectorAnti-Corruption Commission (PACC) is investigating 986 cases against officialsinvolved with the scheme, especially in the stockpiling of rice bought fromfarmers. The PACC had completed half the number of cases. Violators will facedisciplinary measures and criminal charges. The names of theofficials have also been forwarded to the Anti-Money Laundering Office forinvestigation. The investigation of allcases will be completed in June 2017.
