Bangkok (VNA) 🥃– Thailand generated 52.19 billion USD from agricultural and agro-industrial product exports in 2024, marking a 6% increase from the previous year, according to the Thai Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO).

TPSO Director-General Poonpong Naiyanapakorn noted that the majority of agricultural product exports were preliminarily processed commodities. He emphasised the need to develop higher-value products to enhance export revenue.
The top five agricultural product products accounted for 88.06% of total agricultural product export value, while the top five agro-industrial products made up 60.17% of total agro-industrial exports. Thailand’s leading agricultural product export markets in 2024 were China, Japan, the US, Malaysia, and Indonesia./.
