Hanoi (VNA) – The 10-yearimplementation of the resolutions on the national safeguarding strategy andsome social policy affairs was high on the agenda of the 13th PartyCentral Committee on October 4, the third working day of its eighth session.
In the morning, the committee held aplenary sitting to consider the plan to review the 10-year implementation ofthe resolution on the national safeguarding strategy in the new context, issuedat the eighth session of the 11th Party Central Committee.
On behalf of the Politburo, Politburomember and State President Vo Van Thuong chaired the plenum.
In the afternoon, officials heldgroup discussions about the review of the 10-year implementation of Resolution No.15-NQ/TW, dated June 10, 2012, on some social policy affairs during 2012 - 2020,issued at the fifth session of the 11th Party Central Committee./.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong put forth requests for members of the 13th-tenure Party Central Committee while opening the committee’s eighth session in Hanoi on October 2 morning.
Members of the 13th Party Central Committee worked in group on the national socio-economic and state budget situation in 2023 and plans for 2024, the State budget and financial plan for three years 2024-2026 during their afternoon sitting at the committee's eighth plenum, which opened on October 2 morning.
