Top legislator lauds Binh Phuoc’s efforts to boost economic growth

Ngan also praised thesuccess Binh Phuoc has had in battling the disease, as no infections have beenreported in the province despite a 260km borderline with many border gates andcrossings.
She asked localauthorities to grasp the opportunities and promote the advantages it holds inbeing part of the southern key economic region, and at the same time continue tobetter its business and investment environment.
Binh Phuoc needspractical and effective measures to recover business and productionpost-pandemic, boost economic development, and ensure social welfare, Ngan said,emphasising the importance of maintaining epidemic prevention and controlefforts.
She said the NAhas approved a master plan on socio-economic development for ethnic andmountainous regions in 2021-2030 and a resolution on an investment policy inthe national target programme on socio-economic development for ethnic andmountainous regions for 2021-2030.
The seniorlegislator asked the provincial People’s Committee to make every effort tobring the two polices to life, as Binh Phuoc is home to 41 ethnic minoritygroups.
