Hanoi (VNA) – The 13th Party Central Committeediscussed two important projects on October 4, the second working day of its 6th plenum.
In the morning, the committee debated the project oncontinuing to build and complete a law-governed socialist state of Vietnam inthe new period at the hall, under the coordination of Politburo member and StatePresident Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
In the afternoon, the committee worked in groups to giveopinions on the project reviewing 15 years implementing the resolution of the10th Party Central Committee’s 5th plenum on continuingto renew the method of the Party leadership over the operation of the politicalsystem./.
Members of the Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat gave opinions on a number of projects during their meeting on September 9-10 under the chair of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong stressed that many major issues have been implemented for a long time but the results have not met expectations, thus requiring new resolve and new measures to address them at a different scale to meet the requirements of the new situation.
Lawmakers are set to vote on revisions and amendments to a broad spectrum of legal frameworks and impactful resolutions during the final week of the 15th NA's 9th session.

The show, together with a grand parade to be held silmutaneously at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day, and the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA).
