Two Vietnamese, one Chinese nicked for drug transport

Quang Ninh (VNA)🌃 – Authorities of the northern border province of Quang Ninh seized two Vietnamese and one Chinese in three cross-border drug trafficking cases in Dan Tien pier, Mong Cai city on March 19 and 20.
At 11 p.m. on March 20, local authorities arrested 39-year-old Dinh Van Xuan, a resident in Song Khoai commune, Quang Yen town. He was trying to carry a kilogramme of methamphetamine to Dongxing, Guangxi in China . He said he was paid 10 million VND (448.50 USD) to transport the drugs.
At 10:30 p.m., another Vietnamese national, Tran Thi Lua from Nam Dinh province’s Nghia Phu commune, Nghia Hung district, was captured by the team. She was hired to transport 50 grammes of methamphetamine from Dongxing to Quan Toan in Hai Phong for 6.5 million VND (291.50 USD).
Another drug trafficking case was detected by the team at 9 p.m. on March 19. They apprehended Huang Xian Hua, born in 1980 in Guangxi province after finding he held 22 grammes of drugs in a coach. The Chinese man admitted that he bought the drugs for personal use.
The Vietnamese authorities also seized Huang Xian Hua’s electronic scale, passport, mobile phone and 50 plastic bags.-VNA
Customs officers at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi have freshly seized 2.7kg of synthetic drug and cocaine destined for Australia via express service.
The People’s Court of northern mountainous Cao Bang province handed down a life sentence to a Chinese resident on May 22, after finding him guilty of drug trafficking in a major case uncovered by local law enforcement last year.
Ho Chi Minh City police have broken up a six-member drug trafficking ring, seizing 1,103 ecstasy pills, 499 grams of synthetic drugs, and nearly 10 kilograms of methamphetamine.
