Hanoi (VNA) – US President Donald Trump will attend the APEC EconomicLeaders’ Meeting in Vietnam in November together with the US-ASEAN and EastAsia meetings in the Philippines as well.

Theinformation was announced by US Vice President Mike Pence during his visit tothe headquarters of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on April20.

Trump’s administration will work with ASEAN on security issues, trade, andfreedom of navigation in the East Sea, Pence said. -VNA
