The US senator expressed his delight over returning to Vietnamon the occasion of the 20 th anniversary of the normalisation ofVietnam-US relations, adding that the bilateral relations haveprogressed significantly since 1995.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership, once concluded, will bring more success to the two countries’ relationship, McCain said.
He voiced his concern over recent developments in the East Sea andnoted that he supported the settlement of East Sea issues basedon international law.
Principal of the HCMC USSH VoVan Sen believed the meeting between the US senator and Vietnam ’snext generation was a sound opportunity for strengthening Vietnam-USties.
