Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Public Security will organise activities in the zone around Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Hanoi on March 8–9 to mark major anniversaries of the force.
Among the activities are a musical programme, exhibitions, marching band performances, cavalry displays, martial arts, qigong performances, a parade of escort motorcycles, and interactive experiences, the ministry said.
The activities will mark 77 years of the People's Public Security learning and implementing President Ho Chi Minh's six teachings for the force (March 11, 1948–2025), ahead of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force' Traditional Day (August 19, 1945–2025), and the 20th anniversary of the "All people safeguard the Fatherland's security" festival (August 19, 2005–2025).
The celebration will start with a grand opening ceremony featured with traditional drum and martial arts performances at Ly Thai To Square.
Cutting-edge equipment and supplies of the force will be showcased along Hang Khay, Trang Tien, and Hang Bai streets. A highlighly anticipated event is the digital technology museum exhibition, introducing a modern immersive museum model that offers a multi-dimensional and vivid experience to visitors.
Concurrently, people can visit interactive experience zones where they can learn more about traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, rescue operations, and cybercrime prevention and control.
Another highlight is an “Ao dai” festival and parade along Dinh Tien Hoang street.
💮 Meanwhile, a musical gala will take place on March 9 evening at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, featuring popular Vietnamese singers such as My Tam, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Tung Duong, Soobin Hoang Son, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Van Mai Huong, and Duong Hoang Yen./.
