VFF receives 1.6 trillion VND in donations to COVID-19 fight

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) has so far received nearly 1.6 trillion VND (68 million USD) in donations to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hanoi (VNA)🌱 – The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) has so far received nearly1.6 trillion VND (68 million USD) in donations to the fight against theCOVID-19 pandemic.

Presidentof the VFF Central Committee Tran Thanh Man received some donations at a ceremonyin Hanoi on April 15, including 100 million VND from the Central Committee ofthe Vietnam Farmers’ Union (VFU).

Man saidthe VFF Central Committee is committed to distributing the received money in anopen and transparent manner, thus joining hands with the State in driving backthe epidemic.

The same day, permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation TranQuoc Tuan also handed over 500 million VND to The VFF to support the effort.

Vice President of the VFF Central Committee Truong Thi Ngoc Anh also received contributionsfrom many agencies, organisations and businesses./.
