Video contest on Thailand-Vietnam cultural exchange launched

Thai and Vietnamese people are eligible to participate in a video making contest themed “Thai-Vietnamese Friendship in the New Normal”, to celebrate 45 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two counties, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) reported.

Hanoi (VNA) - Thai and Vietnamese people are eligible to participatein a video making contest themed “Thai-Vietnamese Friendship in the NewNormal”, to celebrate 45 years since the establishment of diplomatic relationsbetween the two counties, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) reported.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their works covering different themes, suchas culture, tourism, cuisine, and music, said the Thai Embassy and the VoV, theorganisers of the contest.

Contestants must be Thai and Vietnamese citizens aged between 18 and 30, andeach video must be shot by two contestants comprising a Vietnamese and aThai.  Contestants are able to findteammates via //fb.me/e/K4lnwCKq.

Videos must last for between two and five minutes and use Thai, Vietnamese, andEnglish languages. During the video making process, contestants must follow allrelevant COVID-19 prevention measures in both countries.

Entries in the formats of MP4, AVI, MOV, and WMV need to be uploaded ontoGoogle Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. They then should be sent to the Facebookpage //www.facebook.com/ThaiThebyRTEHanoi detailing name, year of birth,email address, and the telephone numbers of both members.

High-quality videos will be uploaded onto the YouTube channel of the Royal ThaiEmbassy in Hanoi.

First, second and third prize winners will receive VND20 million, VND10 millionand VND5 million, respectively.
