VietjetAir to pay dividends to shareholders by shares

The low-cost carrier Vietjet Air will issue more than 90.2 million shares as dividends paid to its shareholders for the last stage of 2017 at the rate of 20 percent.

Hanoi (VNA) –
The low-cost carrier Vietjet Air will issue more than 90.2 million shares asdividends paid to its shareholders for the last stage of 2017 at the rate of 20percent.

Accordingly, eachshareholder who owns 10 shares of Vietjet Air, coded VJC on the Ho Chi MinhCity Stock Exchange (HOSE), will receive additional two new shares.

After paying the dividends,Vietjet Air’s charter capital will increase from 4.51 trillion VND to over 5.41trillion VND. The deadline for dividend payment registration is July 2, 2018.

Over the past year,Vietjet Air has paid high dividends to its shareholders, with over 100 percentin some particular years.

Recently, thePetrovietnam Trading Company (Petechim) has purchased 100,000 shares of VietjetAir after buying 150,000 shares previously.-VNA
