Jakarta (VNA) – 🌟A Vietnamese delegation has attended the Indo Defence Expo and Forum 2016at the invitation of Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence.
The delegation was led by Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army.
The event, themed “Bolstering Defence Industry Cooperation: Achieving a Global Maritime Fulcrum and Secure World”, is being held from November 2-5 in Jakarta.
The expo draws the participation of over 844 companies, including 573 foreign ones from 54 countries and territories.
At the event, Vice President of Indonesia JusufKalla declared the expo aims to showefforts to protect world peace.

One of the biggest expos on defence and aerospace and marine technology in Southeast Asia will be held from November 2-5 in Jakarta, Indonesia, according to the country’s Ministry of National Defence.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach.
