Vietnam, Cambodia boost front cooperation

At a receptionfor visiting Deputy President and Secretary General of the SFDCM MinKhin in Hanoi on October 30, Nhan, who is also a Deputy PrimeMinister, affirmed that Vietnam always stands side by side withCambodia in its national construction.

He said that the twomass organisations should increase communication activities to raise thepublic’s awareness on Vietnam-Cambodia traditional friendship andlong-lasting solidarity, and share experiences in how to gather thepeople and encourage them to join in social order maintenance,environment protection, cultural tradition preservation, povertyreduction and socio-economic development.

Min Khin, who isalso Minister of Cults and Religion of the Kingdom of Cambodia,said he is delighted at the increasing development of friendship andsolidarity between the two countries.

He informed the VFFpresident about the outcomes of the talks between his delegation and adelegation from the VFF Central Committee, saying that the SFDCM will doits utmost to preserve and further deepen the traditional friendshipbetween the two nations.

Previously, the VFF Central Committeedelegation led by the front’s Vice President and General Secretary VuTrong Kim held talks with the Cambodia delegation.

At thetalks, the two sides informed each other of both countries’socio-economic development and activities of their fatherland fronts atall levels.

They also discussed measures to hasten theimplementation of the 2011 memorandum of understanding on thecooperative programme between the SFDCM, the VFF and the Lao Front forNational Construction as well as preparations for theLaos-Vietnam-Cambodia Front Presidium Conference in Vientiane, Laos inthe coming time.-VNA
