Phnom Penh (VNA)𝔍- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen has suggested public security forces of Vietnam and his country strengthen collaboration in combating crimes in the coming time.

Meeting with visiting Vietnamese Minister of Public Security To Lam in Phnom Penh on May 12, Minister Hun Sen stressed that the cooperation should focus on fighting organisised and trans-national crimes, drug trafficking and trade fraud, and trade fraud.
He also affirmed the visit contributes to promoting the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam. For his part, Minister To Lam expressed his joy at multifaceted achievements made by the Cambodian Government and people.
He also reported results of the talks and the signing of supplementary document for the 2016 cooperation plan between the two nations’ security agencies on May 11 to the host. The Vietnamese official said he hopes for stronger links between the two security ministries in the future, which will importantly contribute to ensuring security and order in both nations.-VNA
