Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam once again resolutelyopposes Taiwan (China)’s live-fire drills around Ba Binh (Itu Aba) island inVietnam’s Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago and demands that it refrain from suchactions in the future.

The Ministry of Foreign Affair’s Vice Spokesperson NguyenPhuong Tra made the statement during a regular press conference in Hanoi onNovember 22, adding that Vietnam has sufficient legal basis and historicevidence affirming its sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa archipelagosin accordance with international law.
