HCM City (VNA) ꦕ- Vietnam won 10 golds at the Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships, which wrapped up in Ho Chi Minh City on December 13.
The host athletes dominated in group 1 for 12-14 years old and group 2 for 15-17 years old, winning all five categories in each group.
They also pocketed all 10 silver medals and two bronze medals in the over-18 group events, which saw China and the Republic of Korea taking three titles each and Mongolia bringing home one.
The fifth Asian championships saw more than 240 athletes competing by age groups over three days at the Nguyen Du Gynmasium.-VNA
Vietnam won three bronze medals in the age group event at the ongoing World Aerobic Gymnastics Championships and World Age Group competitions from June 23-29 in Cancun, Mexico.
As many as 242 athletes from 10 countries and territories in Asia will compete in the fifth Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships, which is scheduled for December 11-13 in Ho Chi Minh City.
