Moscow (VNA) - Kazakhstan Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs ErmekKosherbayev described Vietnam as an attractive destination for businesses allover the world at the 9th meeting of the Vietnam-Kazakhstan IntergovernmentalCommittee for Economic-Trade and Science-Technology Cooperation.
The official said Kazakhstan enterprises have expressed their interest inimporting Vietnamese marine fish since Vietnam inked the free trade deal withthe Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Both sides pose huge potential to boost all-round cooperation through suchimportant cooperative mechanisms as the intergovernmental committee, he said,hoping decisions made at the 9th meeting will help elevate the bilateralrelations.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong laid stresson the sound development in bilateral ties, with stronger growth in two-waytrade which stood at only 200 million USD before the free trade agreement betweenVietnam and the EAEU was inked.
Vietnam is striving to seek new measures to handle trade and economic issues,he said, wishing both nations will expand trade and investment ties followingthis meeting.
