Vietnam, Japan IT sectors ink deal

HCM City (VNA) - Quang Trung Software City(QTSC), and the Vietnam Information Technology Outsourcing (VNITO) Alliance havesigned an agreement with Japan’s Fukuoka Information Services IndustryAssociation to enhance business cooperation and support trade promotion bymembers of both sides.

The signing ceremony was held in Japan as part of tradepromotion activities organised by QTSC and VNITO Alliance in four Japanesecities of Fujisawa, Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka, from August 28 to September 2.

The programme aims to support Vietnamese firms understandmore about the Japanese market and meet with their Japanese counterparts toexplore and expand business cooperation.

The ceremony was followed by a business-matching eventinvolving 16 Vietnamese IT firms and 15 local firms in Fukuoka.

VNITO Alliance had earlier signed memorandum ofunderstandings with other Japanese IT organisations in Tokyo, Kanagawa andOsaka.-VNA
