Long An (VNA) ꧂- The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the southern province of Long An on March 8 signed an agreement on communications cooperation, allowing both sides to support each other in the field.
Under the agreement, Long An will provide information to VNA correspondents in the locality while creating favourable conditions for them in their operations.
The VNA will publish news on aspects of Long An in all media forms it publishes as well as assist the province in communications for both internal and foreign relations purposes.
At the event, VNA General Director Nguyen Duc Loi briefed the attendants about the 70 years of VNA’s establishment and development.
He also suggested that the VNA and Long An should design collaboration plans to popularise the Party and State’s policies and orientations in an accurate, timely and all-encompassing manner.
Highlighting the significance of the signing, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Do Huu Lam said he hopes a comprehensive image of Long An, as well as the province’s socio-economic development potential, advantages and culture will be disseminated to the community through the VNA’s publications and other media forms, helping the locality attract investment, and boost tourism and services.
On the occasion, General Director Loi presented the insignia “For the course of Vietnam News Agency” to the provincial leaders.-VNA
