Vietnam Print Pack & Foodtech 2018 opens in HCM City
The Vietnam Print Pack Foodtech 2018 Expo opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Conference Centre in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City on August 29, drawing more than 380 enterprises from 11 countries and territories including Vietnam, Australia, Canada, Germany, and Japan.
HCM City (VNA) – The Vietnam Print Pack Foodtech 2018 Expo openedat the Saigon Exhibition and Conference Centre in District 7 of Ho Chi MinhCity on August 29, drawing more than 380 enterprises from 11 countries andterritories including Vietnam, Australia, Canada, Germany, and Japan.
The annual international packaging and printing industry event has 500booths displaying various products and advanced printing and packagingtechnologies, along with the latest accessories and equipment in food packagingand processing.
The exhibition drew many big names in the industry such as Trung My A ofVietnam, AEC Machinery from the Republic of Korea, and Uchida Yoko Global fromJapan.
Bui Thi Thanh An, Vice Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agencyunder the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that after 17 years, the VietnamPrint Pack Foodtech 2018 has become a popular event for both domestic andforeign enterprises, contributing to greater connectivity and giving a chance forimporters to access the Vietnamese market.
An industrial seminar will also be held to introduce 3D printingtechnology and its application in the Vietnamese printing industry.
The Vietnam Print Pack Foodtech 2017 showcased 300 exhibitors from 11countries and regions with 480 booths, attracting a total of 14,732 visitors.–VNA
The Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2016 (Vietnam Foodexpo 2016) kicked off on November 16 at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
