Vietnam supports the expanded and increased role of the United Nations(UN) and multilateral security mechanisms in ensuring regional andglobal security, peace, and stability, said Deputy Chief of Staff of theVietnam People’s Army Vo Van Tuan at the fourth Moscow Conference onInternational Security (MCIS) in the Russian capital city on April16-17.
At a discussion on the role ofpolitical-military policies in regional and global security, LieutenantGeneral Tuan said growing non-traditional security challenges arethreatening security and stability unsolvable by any one nation alone.
