Vietnam to attend KL Converge in Malaysia

A Vietnamese delegation will participate in the three-day communications expo KL Converge at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in the Malaysian capital from August 27-29.
A Vietnamese delegation will participate in the three-day communicationsexpo KL Converge at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in the Malaysiancapital from August 27-29.

TheVietnamese delegation includes the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), VietnamTelevision (VTV), Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Vietnam Internet Association,Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), Vietnam Mobile TelecomServices Company (VMS), and Saigontourist Cable Television Company.

The delegation will introduce the development ofcommunications in Vietnam and showcase a wide variety of products andsolutions in 15 pavilions.

It is also scheduledto participate in a number of regional seminars and workshops takingplace as part of the exhibition.

Attending theplatform for the second time, Vietnam aims to promote its natural andcultural beauty, as well as its innovations in a number of fields,including communications, information technology and televisionbroadcasting.

KL Converge 2015, jointlyorganised by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission(MCMC) and the Ministry for Communications and Multimedia, is expectedto see the participation of relevant groups from other nations in theSoutheast Asian region, as well as China, Japan and the Republic ofKorea.

The exhibition aims to provide networkingopportunities, popularise relevant policies, promote investmentprospects, and share experiences and innovative ideas.-VNA
