Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam attaches importance to the comprehensivestrategic partnership with Russia and the relations with the Communist Party ofthe Russian Federation (CPRF), said Politburo member and head of the Communist Partyof Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Inspection Commission Tran Quoc Vuong.
During meetings on December 7 with leaders of the Federation Council of Russia (Senate) and the CPRF as part of his on-going working visit to thecountry, Vuong discussed practical measures to promote the relationship betweenthe two Parties and States in the coming time.
The hosts praised Vietnam’s recent achievements and congratulated the countryon the successful hosting of the 25th APEC Summit 2017, saying that thiscontributed to promoting regional and global peace and cooperation, and theties between Vietnam and Russia in particular.
At talks with Vice Chairman of Russia’s Federation Council Evgheny Pushmin, the two sides reviewed the long-lasting traditional bilateralrelations between the two nations and the increasing ties between their legislativebodies, which are witnessing a strong development.
Many cooperative agreements have been signed between the Vietnamese NationalAssembly and the Russian Federation Council, contributingto deepening the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation betweenthe two people, they said.
Meanwhile at meeting with CPRF President Gennady Zyuganov, the two sides talked the relations of the two partiesand countries as well as party-building work.
Zyuganov affirmed the CPRF always highly evaluates the CPV’s roleand position in leading the State and society, making Vietnam one of the rapid growing economies in the world for manydecades.
Vietnam was an active and prestigious member in the international communist andworker movement, he said, adding that the CPRF always supports the Russian administration’spolicies in strengthening relations with Vietnam.
Both host and guest agreed on the necessity to enhance exchange of all-levelvisits and cooperation and information sharing on activities of each Party and thoseconcerning regional and international issues, while actively coordinating inthe international communist and worker movement as well.-VNA

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed the need to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and smart teaching equipment, innovate teaching and assessment methods, and further improve the quality of formal education.
He also pledged that the NA will promote its ongoing supervision, making sure that every promise must lead to results, and every commitment must bring about real changes.
