Ambassador Lan passed on a message from Vietnamese PresidentTruong Tan Sang inviting President Salvador Sanchez Ciren to visitVietnam.

On the occasion, the Vietnamese diplomat had a meetingwith Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Merlin Alejandrina Barrealand other officials to discuss ways to foster economic relations betweenthe two nations, including in the telecommunications sector.

TheRepublic of El Salvador is the smallest and the most denselypopulated country in Central America , covering an area of 20,742square kilometers and containing over 6.2 million people.
