Vietnamese Ambassador to France congratulates Laos on National Day
A delegation from the Vietnamese Embassy and representative agencies in France led by Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang have visited the Lao Embassy to offer congratulations on the 49th National Day of Laos (December 2, 1975 - 2024).

Paris (VNA)𒐪 - A delegation from the Vietnamese Embassy and representative agencies in France led by Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang have visited the Lao Embassy to offer congratulations on the 49th National Day of Laos (December 2, 1975 - 2024).
During the visit on November 29, Ambassador Thang extended his best wishes to the Party, State, and people of Laos, as well as all the staff of the Lao Embassy in France on the occasion of their National Day.
The ambassador expressed his pleasure that over the past year, the two countries have continued to make solid progress in various fields while enhancing cooperation and coordination both regionally and globally. The Vietnamese and Lao embassies in France have also maintained a strong and close relationship for many years.
Congratulating Laos on its successes in socio-economic development and the rotating chairmanship of ASEAN, Thang expressed his hope that the relationship between the two countries, their peoples and, especially, the embassies will continue to flourish.
Through cooperation in bilateral aspects and within the framework of ASEAN, the two countries have contributed to peace, development, and stability in the region, he added.
For his part, Lao Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth agreed with his Vietnamese couterpart's assessment of the traditional friendship between the two countries, the two peoples, and their embassies.
He highlighted impressive statistics about high-level visits and exchanges between Laos and Vietnam this year which evidence the unique and sustainable cooperation between the two countries.
The Lao diplomat said he hopes that younger generations of both countries will continue to uphold and promote the beautiful traditions established by their predecessors.
He also congratulated Vietnam on its significant strides in socio-economic development, affirming that Vietnam is currently leading ASEAN in terms of development, particularly foreign trade and investment./.
