Prague (VNA) – The overseas Vietnamese Association in Poland hascontributed to improving the position and prestige of the Vietnamese communityin the host country.
Speaking at a ceremony to celebrate theassociation’s 20th founding anniversary in Warsaw on July 7, former VicePresident Truong My Hoa hailed efforts made by the association over the past 20years to care for the Vietnamese community and maintain the traditionalculture.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Vu DangDung spoke highly of activities organised by the association, while voicing hishope that it will continue encouraging Vietnamese people to obey the hostcountry’s law and serve as a bridge for the Vietnam-Poland traditionalfriendship.
On the same day, the association convenedits sixth congress, selecting a new 35-strong executive board for the 2019-2024tenure, with Tran Anh Tuan elected as its President.
Established in 1999, the association currentlyhouses over 30,000 Vietnamese people living across Poland.-VNA
Intensifying information connectivity, increasing product quality, developing a system of sales agents and distributors in Poland are necessary factors for Vietnamese enterprises who want to bring their products to the Polish market.
The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
