Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese gymnastLe Thanh Tung bagged a gold medal in the men’s pole vault at th🌼e Asian ArtisticGymnastics Championships 2017, which concluded i𝔍n Thailand on May 21.

Tung scored14.563 points at the final and won the first gold for Vietnam’s men gymnasticsat the event. Previously, he also won a gold medal at the Qatar World Cup inMarch. Later, DinhPhuong Thanh pocketed a bronze medal in the men’s parallel bars. With onegold and one bronze, Vietnam finished third in the overall medals tally. China dominated the event with 11gold and eight silver medals, while Japan came second with two golds and onebronze.-VNA
