Le Hien Van (R) presents a bouquet to Secretary of State at the Cambodian Defence Ministry Dam Dariny (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Women of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and theRoyal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) should continue enhancing exchanges ofdelegations to strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding, along withbolstering experience sharing and training.
This was agreed by deputy head of the VPA’s General Department ofPolitics Lieut. Gen. Le Hien Van and Secretary of State at the CambodianDefence Ministry Dam Dariny during their talks in Hanoi on September 27.
They also agreed to promote communications andeducation on the importance of promoting the two countries’ friendship, therebycontributing to combating all plots and activities of hostile and reactionaryforces wanting to break the solidarity of the two countries.
They said both sides need to work with relevant agencies to encourage thepublic to provide information for the search and repatriation of the remains ofVietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts who laid down their lives duringwartime in Cambodia.
They concurred to bolster information exchangeand communications to ensure that people in border areas closely follow thecountries’ regulations on border management, contributing to building a sharedborder of peace, friendship, stability and cooperation.
After the meeting, a high-ranking delegation ofthe RCAF led by Dam Dariny paid a courtesy call to head of the VPA’s GeneralDepartment of Politics Sen. Lieut. Gen. Luong Cuong. –VNA
