Vietnamese citizenship granted to 350 border residents

The new Vietnamese citizens are in communes of Ba Tang, ATuc, Xy, Thanh, Thuan, A Xing, Huong Phung, Huong Viet, Huong Lap in Huong Hoadistrict.
The provincial justice sector will issue necessary papers tothem such as birth and marriage certificates, ID cards and householdregistration books.
In Quang Tri, 855 people have been approved for Vietnamesecitizenship, 590 of them acquired the status./.
As many as 119 Lao nationals living in Vietnam were granted Vietnamese citizenship certificates during a ceremony held in the central province of Quang Tri on December 12.
As many as 17 Lao nationals living in Dak Glei district of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum were granted Vietnamese citizenship certificates during a ceremony on May 21.
As many as 88 Lao nationals currently residing in the north-western province of Son La were granted Vietnamese citizenship during a ceremony held in the province on September 18.
The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
