Cairo (VNA) -𒊎 The Embassy of Vietnam inEgypt held a special programme promoting Vietnamese culture on December 17 inAlexandria, the country’s second-largest city.
It comprised a photo exhibition on Vietnam’slandscapes and people, the screening of documentaries on culture and famoustourist destinations, and a fair introducing traditional cuisine and coffee. Speaking at the event, Ambassador Tran Thanh Congsaid that Vietnam and Egypt have signed an agreement on culture that serves asa foundation for the two countries’ cooperation. Cultural activities are among the best ways tobolster bilateral ties and mutual understanding, he noted. Maha Malek, a visitor at the event, said Vietnamboasts potential and advantages in developing various types of tourism, and thetwo countries could exchange experience to facilitate the spearhead economic sectorand turn it into a driver of growth./.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt, in collaboration with the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, held a workshop on economic and trade potential between the two countries on December 17, aiming at paving the way for both countries’ businesses to fully tap their potential.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.
