Vietnamese Embassy in Moscow congratulates Laos on National Day
Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi and the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia have extended their greetings to Laos on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of Lao National Day (December 2).

Moscow (VNA) – Ambassador Dang Minh Khoiand the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia have extended their greetingsto Laos on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of Lao National Day(December 2).
The delegation visited the Lao Embassy in Moscow onDecember 1, during which Khoi noted with pleasure the achievements Laos hasrecorded over the past time.
He suggested the two embassies tighten theircoordination to contribute to consolidating the Vietnam-Laos friendship, andshare experience in international relations.
Lao Deputy Ambassador Vongvilay Thipphalangsy also spokehighly of the special friendship between the two Parties, States and peoples,and agreed with Khoi’s proposals on cooperation between the two embassies./.
Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Phan Van Mai extended greetings on the 47th National Day of Laos (December 2), while visiting the Lao Consulate General on November 30.
The Consulate General of Vietnam in Laos’s Luang Prabang province has coordinated with eight northern Lao provinces to organise a ceremony reviewing the Vietnam-Laos and Laos-Vietnam Year of Friendship 2022.

The country is willing to participate in collective efforts to promote cooperation and mobilise resources to advance the current priority issues of developing countries, such as trade, investment, infrastructure connectivity, making the most of scientific and technological advances for development, and people-to-people exchanges, Hang said.
During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
