Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese iced coffee has been named as one of the best coffee in the world by TasteAtlas, an international foodmagazine.

According toTasteAtlas, Vietnamese iced coffee is a drink that combines strong coffee,condensed milk, and ice.
“It is traditionally made with medium orcoarse ground Vietnamese-grown coffee, typically the Robusta variety, which isbrewed using a drip phin filter—inwhich the coffee is brewed and then slowly dripped in the cup,” it said.
﷽ The magazine revealedthat it is usually served in a tall glass, adding that there is also a versionthat combines only coffee and ice (ca phe da).
Sharing the first positionwith Vietnamese iced coffee is Ristretto of Italy, which means restrictions inItalian, is half of a single shot of espresso. It differs froma standard espresso, not only in the amount of water used for its preparation but also in flavour, which is less bitter than regular espresso, according to TasteAtlas. TasteAtlas, a website dedicated to discovering fresh ingredients, traditional dishes, and authentic restaurants around the world, has recognised Vietnamese baguette, known locally as "Banh mi", as the 7th best street food in the world.
Canadian travel magazine The Travel has listed the southern metropolis Ho Chi Minh City among the top 10 Asian cities that can be considered a dream for every street food lover.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
