Hanoi (VNA)– Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Committee for ExternalRelations Vu Hai Ha hosted a reception in Hanoi on June 23 for Ambassador ofIran to Vietnam Ali Akbar Nazari.

Hasaid since the establishment of formal relations between Vietnam and Iran in 1973,numerous bilateral cooperation agreements have been signed in various socio-economicareas, along with high-level visits between the leaders of the two countries.

Withfive decades of cooperation, Ha believed that bilateral cooperation willfurther flourish.

Accordingto him, the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two legislatures hasthrived over the past years. The relations between the Vietnam-Iran andIran-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians' Groups have also been strengthened.

Thehost wished that the two legislatures would continue facilitating the exchangeof delegations, especially between their committees, working closely together atinternational forums, and further enhancing the role of the two friendship parliamentarians'groups as a bridge between the two parliarments.

🌸 Affirming Iranalways attaches importance to and wishes to further boost all-around friendshipand cooperation with Vietnam, Ali Akbar Nazari pledged that during his tenure, he will exert efforts to carry forward the traditionalfriendship and cooperation between the two States, legislatures and peoples./.
