The delegation held talk with a delegation of the municipal VientianeYouth Union Committee led by its Secretary Bountham Phutthavong on Oct.28.
At the talks, the two delegations sharedexperience in youth union work as well as in activities to mobiliseyoung people.
They signed a memorandum ofunderstanding under which the two sides will increase coordination ineducating the Vietnamese and Lao young people about the special,traditional neighbourliness and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
They also discussed issues of mutual concern bythe two countries’ young people in the fields of information technology,economics, society, culture, education and training, health care,environment and administration reform.
Within theframe work of the visit, the Vietnamese delegation visited and presentedgifts to families of social policy beneficiaries and joined in culturaland sports exchanges./.
According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC), this year’s campaign provided long-term aid for 3,785 individuals and organisations. Support included houses, clean water systems, school meal facilities, books, and livelihood assistance, with a total value of more than 118 billion VND.
