President Vo Van Thuong sent a message of congratulationsto Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, while Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh extendedcongratulations to First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber and National AssemblyChairman Vuong Dinh Hue cabled a congratulatory message to Speaker of the IranianParliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
On the same day, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui ThanhSon also congratulated his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian./.
The Vietnamese and Iranian economies are reciprocal, and the two countries have a lot of potential to advance their economic and trade cooperation, making it match the good bilateral political and diplomatic relations, heard a forum on August 9.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on August 9 visited and delivered a speech “Vietnam - Iran cooperation for peace and development” at the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), as part of his ongoing official visit to Iran.

The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
