Vietnamese people in Russia celebrate New Year

The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia and the Vietnamese Community in the country on December 14 held a cultural event to celebrate the upcoming New Year.

Moscow (VNA) – TheVietnamese Embassyꦕ in Russia and the Vietnamese Community in the country onDecember 14 h🎐eld a cultural event to celebrate the upcoming New Year.

The event was attended by VietnameseAmbassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son and his spouse, along with staff membersof the embassy and overseas Vietnamese in the country. It featured musicalperformances and plays by artists from the Youth Theatre of Vietnam. Vice head of the InternationalCooperation Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le NgocDinh said Vietnam-Russia relations have developed but still hold greatpotential, especially in cultural exchanges. A similar event is scheduled be heldat the Moscow State Pedagogical University on December 16 for Vietnamesestudents in Russia.-VNA

Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s💛 Intergovernmental Committee
