Vanwas named photographer of the year for his works “Di lam sang” (Workingin the morning) and “Khoanh khac quyet dinh” (The decisive moment),which will be displayed with others at an exhibition in the hostcountry.
The winning photos will also be printed in a yearly special photo book of Uruguay’s Mulafoco museum.
In February, Van bagged the third prize at the sixth internationalPollux Awards, the largest annual journalism photo contest held by theWorldwide Gala Photography Awards (WPGA), its jury announced on February26.
He has already won Pollux Awards prizes in 2010 and 2011.-VNA
