The event, organised by ASEAN embassies in Brunei and Timor Leste in collaboration with the Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and the ASEAN Youth Network Brunei, saw the participation of Crown Prince of Brunei. The Vietnamese Embassy's booth displayed "Ao Dai", the ancient five-flap robe, and modern variations. The traditional dress, symbolising the beauty of Vietnamese women and culture, received widespread admiration. Vietnamese expatriates continue to cherish and promote "Ao Dai" as a way to connect with their heritage and popularise Vietnam to the world.
