Vietnam’s army delegation pays official visit to Russia, Belarus

Moscow (VNA) – General Luong Cuong, Secretary of the Party CentralCommittee, permanent member of the Central Military Commission, and Director ofthe Vietnam People’s Army’s General Department of Politics, is paying officialvisits to Russia and Belarus from June 18-26.
The visits are made at the invitations of Deputy Defence Minister of theRussian Federation and Chief of Main Directorate for Political-Military Affairsof the Russian Armed Forces Andrey Valeryevich Kartapolov, and Assistant toBelarusian Minister of Defence and chief of the ideological Department of theArmed Forces Kasinski Leonid Viktorovich.
They are expected to enhance the traditional friendship, the Vietnam-Russiacomprehensive strategic relations, and the Vietnam-Belarus partnership.
Besides, the visit to Russia is considered as a highlight during the VietnamYear in Russia and Russia Year in Vietnam during 2019-2020.-VNA
Vietnam has always treasured the development of traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Belarus, Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has said.

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed the need to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and smart teaching equipment, innovate teaching and assessment methods, and further improve the quality of formal education.
He also pledged that the NA will promote its ongoing supervision, making sure that every promise must lead to results, and every commitment must bring about real changes.
