Hanoi (VNA) – The national festival for innovative startups,Techfest Vietnam 2020, will take place at the National Economics University inHanoi from November 27-29.

The annual festival, the biggest of its kind, is jointlyorganised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and other ministries,sectors, localities and socio-political organisations.

Themed "Adaptation - Transformation -Breakthrough", Techfest Vietnam 2020 will be structured into 12 technologyvillages that are expected to have at least 250 booths from potential startupsand attract nearly 300 local and international investors, 150 corporations,enterprises and startup supporting organisations to attend both virtually andphysically.

Notably, social impacts on innovative startups’ solutionsand business models will be clearly presented in the Social Impact TechnologyVillage, which will be coordinated by the United Nations Development Programme inVietnam (UNDP Vietnam).

This year, the Ministry of Science and Technology will alsocoordinate with partners to organise a High-Level Policy Dialogue, in which theGovernment leaders will hold a discussion with the innovative startup communityon how to solve difficulties in conducting business and create a favourableenvironment for the growth of startups./.
