Viettel represents Vietnam at Mobile World Congress 2025

Hanoi (VNA) – The Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group, Vietnam’s sole representative at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, is showcasing cutting-edge Vietnamese technologies at the global event, held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3 to 6.

Viettel Chairman and General Director Major General Tao Duc Thang said that the MWC provides a crucial platform for the group to present its latest technological solutions, gain insights into global advancements, and explore opportunities for technology investment and exports.

At MWC Barcelona 2025, Viettel is exhibiting 22 products across three key categories of network infrastructure, digital platforms, and applications. This marks the largest number of products the company has ever introduced at the annual event, with an increase of five compared to 2024.

Specifically, the network infrastructure solutions on display include its 5G ecosystem (5G Private, 5G ORAN, 5G Core), self-designed semiconductor chips (RF-SoC, security chips, 5W X-Band FEM chips), digital twins for telecom stations, and logistics robotics systems.

The digital platform offerings, meanwhile, range from Application Programming Interface (API) services, content delivery networks and a data centre management system to new-generation cybersecurity platforms and intelligent traffic management solutions.

The category of digital applications includes virtual assistant, meCall video ringtone, Mydio audiobook, and TV360 streaming services.

During the event, Viettel is set to sign business and technology development agreements with TikTok, Visa, China Telecom Global, Pegatron, Twilio, and SANY.
