At a meetingwith Vientiane Vice Mayor Saithong Keoduangdy, Binh, who is alsoChairman of the provincial People’s Council, extended his best wishes tothe people of Laos in general and Vientiane in particular on thefestival.
He briefed his host on Ha Tinh’s socio-economicperformance and its cooperation with the Lao provinces of Kham Muon,Savannakhet and Boli Khamsay.
Binh describedpersonnel training as a highlight in Ha Tinh’s cooperation with centralLao provinces, noting that more than 500 Lao students have studied atthe Ha Tinh University.
Host and guest also touchedupon ways to support each side’s enterprises and expressed their hopesfor further cooperation between the two localities in the coming time.
Saithong Keoduangdy thanked Ha Tinh for itsassistance to Vientiane over the past time, saying that despitedifficulties, the city’s gross domestic product (GDP) still grew 12percent last year.-VNA
