Accordingto Vuong Vu Thang, Chairman of VCCORP JSC and member of the jury, the awardeesinclude both artists and normal individuals.
Thetitle of “pioneer” was presented to Nguyen Tan Minh and Pham Nguyen Phu Sy whoinvented dog ultrasonic deterrent equipment named “D.S Dog Security.”
“LoaiPlastic” (Plastic Species), a non-profit project, won the title of “plasticrobber” in recognition of its contributions to raising public awareness,especially among youngsters, of environmental protection.
Youngcreative director Denis Dang was honoured in the category of “New Face.”Meanwhile, the most favourite movie award went to “Mat biec” (Blue eyes), andthe best television film was “Ve nha di con” (Come home, my dear).
OmoMatic and NesCafe Plan were honoured for a joint campaign that has contributedto sustainable development.
MissInternational Queen Huong Giang won the prize of “artist with outstandingactivities.”
Besides,the organisers presented awards to the top 10 inspirational individualsselected by the community, and five inspirational ambassadors whose storieshave helped to consolidate confidence and nurture dreams of youths./.
The inspiring journey of WeChoice Awards 2018 ended with a gala night in Ho Chi Minh City on January 5, honouring the most inspirational persons, stories, events, products and works with positive impacts on the community.
The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
The festival highlighted the contributions and robust development of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past century while promoting press products and showcasing the creativity of Vietnamese journalists.
The programme on sustainable poverty reduction has achieved its annual targets for reducing the poverty rate as assigned by the National Assembly and the Government.
